Michael J. Fox Goes 'Back to the Future' for Charity

He’s always up to something, and over the weekend Michael J Fox too the stage at a charity function to shred on his guitar.

The “Back to the Future” star played “Johnny B. Goode” at the A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s gala in New York City.

Back in 1985, Fox’s character Marty McFly played that same song at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance in the movie, though Michael didn’t actually play the guitar back then.

Probably the most amazing part of the gig was that Fox was able to overcome his Parkinson’s symptoms and have the dexterity to play the guitar solo- and of course the crowd went wild.
